After traveling across the country for 11 days, the convoy reached Hagerstown, Maryland (70 miles from DC) for a rally.
Brian Brase, one of the head organizer, asked the convoy group members to follow process, be civil, and to not go into DC. The group of hundreds of trucks plan to drive around the DC beltway once per day, or more if needed, until their demands are met.
One such demand is that federal law makers end the Covid crisis.
Brase indicated that the convoy is cooperating with local law enforcement and intents to keep the protest lawful.
